Thirsk’s tourist attractions will be centre stage this month when our holiday park throws open its doors to the public.
Abbots Green will welcome visitors on 23rd and 24th September, when experts will be on hand to provide information about the region as a holiday destination.
Park owner Phil Brierley said he and his team were looking forward to sharing their knowledge of Thirsk and the Hambleton Hills and the best places for families, couples and dog walkers to visit during a holiday to the area.
Thirsk tourism
“Thirsk is a beautiful town surrounded by breathtaking countryside and it’s one of Yorkshire’s best kept secrets,” said Phil.
“We hope to welcome a lot of people who have been on holiday here and are interested in buying one of our luxury lodges so that they can come more frequently, but we expect there will also be people coming to the open weekend who are only just discovering the area and want to find out more.
“We will have a number of our luxury lodges open for viewing and a designer who can help people plan a bespoke holiday home within easy reach of Thirsk and its shops, cafes and restaurants, not to mention the peaceful countryside right on our doorstep.”
The Abbots Green open weekend will be held on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th September from 10.30am to 4.30pm. For further details visit www.abbotsgreenlodges.co.uk.
